About

About Me

I'm based in Los Angeles and was born and raised in Southern California. I live here with my partner and our pets: a dog, and three cats. Outside of nails, I’ve always loved animals, arts and crafts, and spending time with my family.

My favorite food is ramen (the spicier, the better!), and I’m always on the lookout for new spots to try with my friends. But when I want a lil sweet treat, I love getting boba or trying out new vegan ice cream spots.

Whether I’m out with friends or family, mixing nail colors, or planning my next DIY project, I’m happiest when I’m creating and connecting with the people I care about.

My Nail Journey

I started learning to do nails back in 2020, during the pandemic but I’ve always loved nail art. It began with my sister and me picking out $1 nail polishes at the swap meet, and over the years it grew into experimenting with polygel kits, then Gel-X, and eventually, something just clicked.

I’m not exactly sure when I first got into making press-ons, but I do remember the feeling of enjoying the process more than anything else. Around that time, people began asking if I sold my sets, and when the requests kept coming in, I realized this could become something bigger.

Fast forward to 2025: after a month of being unemployed, I decided to pour all my time and energy into danididmynails — and it’s been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made. Every single order, message, and bit of support has helped me get here. I’m so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to see where it leads!

Why Press Ons?

Over time, I realized that I truly love the process of making press-on nails, even more than working with traditional acrylic or Gel-X. I considered going to school for nails, but ultimately, I discovered that what I enjoy most is being in my own space, fully immersed in the art. For me, creating press-ons feels more like painting than providing a service, it’s an artistic process that allows for focus, freedom, and creativity.

After experimenting with different techniques, styles, and products first on myself, then on anyone willing to try them, I kept coming back to press-ons. I fell in love with the entire process: planning out designs, mixing custom colors, and collaborating with you to create something that’s uniquely yours. Reusable, custom-fit gel press-ons are more than just nails, they’re little pieces of wearable art, and I’m so grateful to share them with you!

My Promise

Truly the only reason I am making this site and selling my art is because of you! If my friends, family, and colleagues had not supported and encourged me as much as they have, I would not be anywhere near where I am today. Because of that, I promise to put into each set the love, time, and patience that has been shared with me over all this time.

What's Next

At danididmynails, we're reimagining what it means to get custom nail art. This next phase is about more than just beautiful designs — it's about creating a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish. No more waiting hours in salons, guessing if someone’s accepting new clients, or navigating confusing booking systems. We're building a space where you can confidently browse, request, and purchase the nail art you love — all with ease, transparency, and a personal touch.

Efficiency, accuracy, and creativity are at the core of where danididmynails is going. I’m building a system that removes the guesswork, shortens the wait, and delivers exactly what you envisioned, but faster and better. Whether it's choosing a design, placing an order, or getting your set delivered, every part of the experience is being shaped to reflect those three values. The goal is to make custom nail art not only more accessible but also more streamlined and expressive without compromising on the individuality that makes each set special.

Thank You

Almost all of my creative inspiration is the result of the freedom that comes from working with people who trust me to bring their ideas to life. When clients come to me with their own visions, or even just a vibe, it gives me the space to be creative, expressive, and personal in my designs. That kind of collaboration is what makes this all so special. Thank you for the continued support<333
